Exhaustion runs deep
Poured out in lumps
Like the blood that flows
Through soggy veins.

Turns slowly, congealing
Or leaking out
Through slits or cracks
Not meant to be there.

Oozes past wasting muscle
Acidic from under use.
Through the heart fuzzily beating
It's strenth nearly spent.

The last part of this poem I could have really stuffed up. I had a few things that I nearly published.
For instance, I was gonna add to the last line that the heart spent it all on lollies. It would have ruined the poem.
The last thing that I was soooo close to publishing was this...
"Through the heart fuzzily beating
Up the liver."
I think I need to work on my humour.
